I chose Susquehanna University (SU) for my undergraduate experience for a number of reasons. However, in comparison to other universities I was considering, SU attracted me because of the strength of its business program (AACSB accreditation), its study abroad opportunities, liberal arts foundation and small class size. The campus is beautiful and reminded me of the what I always thought a college campus should look like… a park like setting with sprawling lawns and perfectly matched buildings.
After college, I spent several years working in marketing and communications at a prestigious investment bank in NYC before deciding I wanted to return for my Masters degree. I chose to attend The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. GW had the exact program I was looking for and I knew the job opportunities for my career switch would be plentiful in DC.
Graduate school was a much different experience than my undergraduate time at SU. I knew at this point in my life, an urban campus was more of what I was looking for. GW has a central location in DC and the campus is surrounded by cultural and social opportunities.
